Information we collect

Personally identifiable information:

When visitors come to our servers, we collect and aggregate information indicating,
among other things, which pages were visited, the order in which they were visited, and which hyperlinks were "clicked." Collecting such information involves the logging of IP addresses, operating system and browser software used by each visitor to the appleserialnumberinfo web site.

When a model configuration is submitted we use the serial number and specifications,
the email address is only used if you have allowed for contact by any of the provided options. If asked to do so, we will share a users first and last name on the 'thanks' pages.

In case of theft report your email address will be shared along with additional information you provided whenever that specific item is searched for. This to give people a chance to contact the owner.

When an account is created to store hardware information the account details and registered hardware are stored in a secure database.

Model / Specifications information is added to our database, the serial number is converted to an internally used format so your unique serial number is not on record with us(1).

When information is collected we use what we need then dispose of it.(1)

When we detect fraude, or attempt there of, we use gathered information to ban
a user from the website and/or report the user to the proper authorities

When we release information to third parties

We don't!
Any and all information we collect will be disposed of after it's analyzed internally and used as described above(1). If authorities request it we will assist by providing information such as theft reports only if the owner agrees to this.

1. With the exception of theft reports, these are saved for future reference if needed also information of received payments is saved.
